Please note that the following terms and conditions, along with our Privacy Policy Terms of Use, shall apply when you use “Shop – Go Local Eats” to purchase goods.

In this agreement, references to “we,” “us,” “our,” or “Go Local Eats” refer to Am 2 Am limited a registered company in England and Wales with the registration 13206976, and its registered office located at Am 2 Am Limited 12 Crystal 12 Crystal Palace Parade, London SE191UA.

You must read these terms before placing any orders on the website, as by doing so, and accept these terms and conditions, which will apply to all your orders.

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time, so we are to assume that the same terms will apply to future orders.

  1. To purchase goods from our website, you must meet the following criteria:
    1. You must be 18 years of age or older. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 18 or older.
    2. You must reside within a geographical area where we offer delivery or be able to collect from a store where we offer click and collect, as indicated on the website.
    3. You must be a consumer purchasing goods for your personal use.
  2. To create a contract between you and us when purchasing goods, please hese steps:
    1. If you have chosen to have your goods delivered:
      1. Place an order on our website and proceed to checkout.
      2. You will receive an order confirmation email, which does not mean we have accepted your order yet.
      3. We will email you once your goods have been packed, along with any alternative options.
      4. A delivery email or text will be sent to you to notify you that your goods are on their way.
      5. Once you receive your goods and accept the delivery, a binding contract will be formed between you and us.
    2. If you have chosen to collect your goods:
      1. Place an order on our website and proceed to checkout.
      2. You will receive an order confirmation email, which does not mean we have accepted your order yet.
      3. We will email you once your goods have been packed, along with any alternative options.
      4. Collect your goods, and a binding contract will be formed between you and us.
  3. Please remember the following information regarding age restrictions:
    1. Please note that our website may offer age-restricted items for sale, such as alcohol, cigarettes, razor blades, and lottery tickets.
    2. To ensure that we abide by the relevant laws and regulations, we operate a challenge 25 policy. This means that we will request photo identification from anyone who appears to be under 25 years of age and is collecting or receiving delivery of age-restricted items, such as a driving license or passport, to prove that they are over 18.
    3. If proof of age or an alternative adult with proof of age (if required) is unavailable, we may retain the age-restricted items.
    4. Additionally, we may remove the age-restricted items and hand over the remaining goods at our discretion. We will refund you for any age-restricted items not delivered or collected.
  4. Availability of Goods and Substitutions:
    1. The availability depends on the stock in the ‘Store’ at the time of purchase.
    2. If the item you have chosen is unavailable, we may provide an alternative. However, your price may vary in such cases (refer to clause 9.).
    3. If you do not wish to accept the substituted item, you can refuse it at the time of delivery or collection, and we will refund the amount paid for that item.
    4. If an item forms part of a promotional offer, such as a multi-buy offer, and it is not available, then the conditions of the promotional offer may not be met. In such cases, you will be charged the standard individual price for the remaining items as stated on the website, to which the promotional offer would have otherwise applied.
  5. Price
    1. You will be charged the price of the goods mentioned on the website on the day your order is prepared for delivery or collection, except as stated in clauses 4 and 9. Suppose a promotional offer on the website ends between the date of your order and the day that your order is prepared for delivery or collection. In that case, the promotional offer will not be applied to your order.
    2. Our company has a policy where any order you place should have a minimum cost of £10. This is referred to as the ‘minimum basket spend’. If your total order cost does not meet this amount, we will charge an additional fee of £3.
    3. The prices for all goods on the website include VAT.
    4. Despite our best efforts, it is always possible that some of the products we sell may be incorrectly priced. Suppose we accept and process your order where a pricing error is obvious and unmistakable and could reasonably have been recognized by you as mispricing. In that case, we may end the contract, refund you any sums you have paid, and require the return of any goods provided to you.
  6. If you have selected delivery for your order, please note that the following ply:
    1. Goods can only be delivered to a residential address within a designated ‘Delivery Area.’
    2. The goods will be dispatched or made available for collection from an Am 2 Am Limited store within the delivery area.
    3. We will confirm your delivery date and timeslot via email. Although we will try our best to deliver your goods on time, we cannot guarantee this.
    4. Once your goods are dispatched, you will receive an email you provided when placing your order.
    5. We may ask you to provide proof of age when the goods are delivered, as per clause 3.
    6. If no one is available to accept and sign for the delivery, or the person receiving the delivery cannot provide proof of age, we will not leave the goods.
    7. In case of a failed delivery, we will try to contact you and hold the goods at the store for collection until the store closes that day. If the goods are not collected, we will cancel your order and refund the total cost of your order, excluding the delivery charge.
  7. Please note the following information regarding delivery and carrier bag
    1. A delivery charge may apply to your order and will be displayed to you before you place it.
    2. A carrier bag charge may also apply to your order for bags we use to pack your items. This will also be displayed to you before you place your order.
  8. If you have opted for Click and Collect, please keep in mind the following
    1. This clause is applicable if you have chosen to collect goods from a store.
    2. You can only collect your order from the store mentioned in your order confirmation email.
    3. Your order must have a minimum basket value of £10 to be eligible for collection.
    4. You can select your preferred collection time on the website while placing your order.
    5. If you are collecting age-restricted products, we may ask you to provide proof of age as per clause 3.
    6. If you collect the order from inside a store, you must carry a valid identification that matches the cardholder’s name who paid for the order.
    7. If someone else is collecting your order on your behalf, they must provide the order number or confirmation email.
  9. Payment
    1. We accept the following payment methods: Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. When you place an order, The total cost of your order, including the price of the goods (as of the date the order is prepared for delivery or collection), any substituted goods, delivery charge (if applicable), and carrier bag charge (if applicable) will be charged to your payment card on the day of delivery or collection, when your order is packed.
  10. Coupons and discounts
    1. If you’re planning to place an order on the Go Local Eats website, it’s good to know that discounts are available. However, please note that the discount won’t apply to the purchase of alcohol and tobacco products if it brings the price below the minimum legal selling price. Also, to avail of discounts, you can use coupons. All you need to do is enter the coupon code at the point of sale while purchasing online.
  11. Changes to your order
    1. You cannot change an order once payment is completed.
  12. Cancellation or refund
    1. If you have changed your mind about a purchase and would like to cancel your order for a refund, you have 48 hours after the delivery or collection date. However, please note that certain goods are exempt from this policy, including expired, chilled, or frozen products and items that cannot be returned for hygiene or safety reasons after they have been unwrapped, unpackaged, or unsealed. These items include sealed food and drink products, personal grooming products, certain baby products, gift cards, e-top-ups, lottery tickets, and scratch cards
    2. To cancel your order, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery or collection date. If you wish to return the goods, you must do so within the same 48-hour. We will provide you with information about the store when you can return the goods, or we may arrange to collect the goods from you. Please note that you are responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us, including any costs we incur collecting the goods from you.
